Potassium Silicofluoride is a white crystalline powder or solid that is odorless, tasteless, and weakly acidic. It is also toxic and hygroscopic, with a hexagonal crystal density of 3.08. The compound is slightly soluble in water and more soluble in hydrochloric acid. Solubility increases with temperature. When heated, Potassium Silicofluoride decomposes into Potassium Fluoride (KF) and Silicon Tetrafluoride (SiF₄). In hot water, it undergoes hydrolysis to form Potassium Fluoride (KF), Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), and Silicic Acid (H₂SiO₃).
