Precipitated Silica is a versatile material widely used in the rubber industry as a reinforcing agent. It is available in several grades, each tailored to specific applications such as silicone rubber, fire extinguishing agents, industrial rollers, and tires. 1. Precipitated Silica (Silicon Rubber)

   • Description: This grade is produced from superfine white carbon black masterbatch and is ideal for silicone rubber applications.
   • Types:
     • High Specific Surface Area: Suitable for high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (e.g., buttons, transparent silicone rubber, high-temperature sealing rings).
     • Low Specific Surface Area: Applied for room temperature vulcanization (e.g., glass glue, sealants, and adhesives).

2. Precipitated Silica (Fire Grade)

   • Description: Designed for use in ABC and BC dry powder fire extinguishing agents. This silica helps prevent subsidence and caking while enhancing performance.

3. Precipitated Silica (Roller Level)

   • Description: This silica has a specific surface area ranging from 205 to 235 and is used to improve the hardness of rubber products.
   • Applications: Commonly used as a reinforcing agent in industrial rubber rollers, including milling rollers, printing rollers, transmission rollers, and special rollers. It helps achieve a Shore hardness of 90-95.

4. Precipitated Silica (Granular Environment-Friendly)

   • Description: Produced as a granular product to reduce dust, this silica is environmentally friendly and can be effectively dispersed in tires.
   • Applications: Mainly used in the radial truck tire industry, it is designed to improve tire performance while maintaining environmental standards.

• Rubber Reinforcement: Precipitated silica is widely used in various rubber products, including tires, belts, hoses, gaskets, rubber shoes, and more.
• Tire Industry: In tire production, adding 10-20 parts per hundred (phr) of silica can significantly improve the tire's cementing and tear resistance, increase mileage, and enhance grip for safer driving.
• Bicycle Tires: Increasingly used in the production of bicycle tires for better performance and aesthetic qualities, replacing carbon black with white carbon black for a cleaner appearance.
• Rubber Shoes: In the footwear industry, silica enhances wear resistance, skid resistance, and adhesion, playing a key role in the production of rubber shoes, boots, and athletic footwear.
